We're thrilled to introduce Fahad Tariq, an Everyday Muslim Hero. Fahad is the founder of Shift, a nonprofit that converts animal waste into affordable and reliable energy for developing countries, Fahad is tackling some of the world’s most pressing issues. His innovative work not only helps alleviate poverty but also addresses the global energy crisis and fights climate change.
Despite having a full-time job, Fahad dedicates his spare time to Shift, with projects already making an impact in Pakistan and Uganda. He has plans to expand into other countries across the Global South, bringing his sustainable energy solutions to more communities in need.
Fahad’s commitment to building a greener future is about more than energy—it’s about empowering communities and creating sustainable change where it’s most needed. His work shows that with passion and determination, one person can truly make a difference.
