The real magic of filmmaking truly comes alive in the edits, and Khaled Mansour brought this magic to our Short Film Lab. As a talented Camera Operator and Editor with Rogers Sports & Media, Khaled has an impressive background, having worked on our flagship program Let the Quran Speak for four years.
Under Khaled’s expert mentorship, our participants dived into the world of video editing using Adobe Premiere. He guided them step-by-step through the fundamentals, from importing footage to mastering key transitions and effects. More than just teaching technical skills, Khaled emphasized the power of storytelling through editing—demonstrating how every cut, transition, and frame can shape the direction and emotion of a story.
Thanks to Khaled’s insights and hands-on approach, our participants left the workshop with a deeper understanding of how to bring their creative visions to life through editing. Now, they’re equipped and excited to take on the challenge of editing their short documentaries, ready to make their mark on the big screen.
