Introducing Issa Shah

We're excited to introduce Issa Shah as one of the instructors of our Short Film Lab. With roots in Pakistan and Guyana, Issa brings over a decade of experience as a cinematographer to the table, along with a diverse portfolio. From documentaries like "Communal Futures: Juma Circle," which shines a light on inclusive communities, to his work with TheOne08 on sustainable fashion, Issa knows how to tell a story that matters.

His collaborations with big names like HBO and Lululemon have allowed Issa to apply his unique storytelling perspective across various platforms. Beyond just creating content, Issa believes in the power of storytelling to connect people, share experiences, and spark change. This belief drives his work, making it not just visually stunning but also deeply meaningful.

In our Short Film Lab, Issa will share his expertise in both the technical and narrative aspects of filmmaking. He'll guide participants through the complexities of shooting and post-production, offering insights into how to make their projects resonate with audiences. Issa's passion for using film as a tool for positive societal impact will inspire participants to explore how their own stories can make a difference.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of cinematography and storytelling, learning from someone who's not only skilled in the craft but also passionate about the stories he tells. Issa's comprehensive approach will equip our lab participants with the knowledge and inspiration they need to bring their unique visions to life.
